If we are ever to enjoy life,
now is the time, not tomorrow or next year...Today should always be our most
wonderful day.

1 Corinthians 13:11 says “When I was a child, I spake as a
child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man,
I put away childish things.” One of the things we, as adults, have also put
away is our ability to celebrate life. Think back to when you were a child,
life was exciting and fun. So many adults have lost their zest for life and
have forgotten how to celebrate themselves.
We get bogged down with life, trying to fulfill our
psychological, physiological, and sociological needs. We get stuck. But
most children don’t have to worry or care about these things. They just live
life. They ride swings, ride bikes, and play games.
Should we stop taking care of our responsibilities and behave
like children? No. But we should take a page from their book. Remember to
celebrate the little things. Let go of the negative. Dream about the future and
remain hopeful.
There is an old saying, ‘give me my flowers while I’m living”.
That saying isn’t just referring to what others give you, but also what you give
yourself. Life is a celebration and it starts now. As long as you have
breath in your body, you should celebrate your life.
