Here at The Open Mind Center,
we value art as an outlet for expression. We would like to share a project, Paperous, fronted by a SCAD student and
support him and his team in any way. Their story is one of self discovery and
healing during a time of change in a child’s life.
Paperous is a short film about an eight year old
named Michael, who is unnoticed, but ever observant. He is going through
a transformation brought on by the divorce of his parents. In this
coming of age adventure, he fights to preserve the only life he knows.
All over the world, there are kids who have to
deal with the ramifications of their parents' issues. They don't have anyone to
go to. Their minds are their place of refuge. Help us share this story.
The funding will be going towards various
aspects of production including, set design, costume design, and special
effects.
