“All of us every single year,
we’re a different person. I don’t think we’re the same person all our lives”
-Steven Spielberg-
Dare
to dream. Dream fearlessly! No dream is ever too big or too small. Often, we
place unnecessary limitations on ourselves out of fear of failure or worse,
fear of success. These fears create blockages in ourselves that prevent us from
manifesting our hearts desires. All your ideas, plans and visions can have
little meaning if you block yourself from receiving the blessings you’ve asked
for.
Lastly,
seize every opportunity. The universe places the right people, places and
circumstances in our lives at the perfect time to help us build the foundation
for our life’s purpose. We often miss these opportunities because we’re looking
so far ahead that we trip over the small step that
lies right in front of us. This year challenge yourself to follow
your heart and the plan you create for a better you.
It’s
that time again when we evaluate our lives, rethink the future and get rid of
the old. New Year’s resolutions ring through the air as we promise to make the
changes necessary to live a truly fulfilled life. So as you sit down to ponder
over your goals for 2015, don’t just create a thought. Create a plan. Far too
many of us fail to see our resolutions through because we don’t create a plan
to get from where we are to where we want to be. Just as your GPS navigates you
to your final destination, use your mind to create the map for your goals.

After
you’ve mapped out the “what” and “how”, take a moment to think about where you
are now and how you got here. If you like what 2014 brought you,
CONGRATULATIONS! You did it. Take some time to acknowledge the steps you took
that had favorable outcomes and see how you can apply them to the year ahead.
On the other hand, if you had a challenging year, ask yourself why? What
choices did you make that didn’t quite work come out the way you planned? What
can you do this year so you
don’t make the same mistake twice? And how can you change your circumstances?
It’s not just enough to want something and to plan it. You must also
acknowledge the choices you made. No choice ever amounts to failure or
mistakes. They are all learning lessons needed to help you build the brighter
future you so deeply desire.
